MoDOT TRAFFIC ALERT: U.S. Route 60/65 Ramps CLOSED In Springfield

Saturday, November 20 for Road Striping

Where:

  • Eastbound U.S. Route 60-to-northbound U.S. Route 65 flyover ramp in Springfield CLOSED
  • Eastbound U.S. Route 60-to-southbound U.S. Route 65 ramp in Springfield CLOSED

When: 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday, November 20

What: Contractor crews to lay pavement markings on the deck/driving surface. Due to safety reasons and temperatures, the ramps will be closed for a short time during the day until the work is complete. Crews completed the sealing of the ramp’s surfaces as a preventative maintenance measure to extending the life of the bridges.

Traffic Impacts:

  • Eastbound U.S. Route 60-to-northbound U.S. Route 65 flyover ramp toward north Springfield CLOSED
  • Eastbound U.S. Route 60-to-southbound U.S. Route 65 ramp toward Ozark CLOSED
  • Ramps will not be closed at the same time, but will be closed consecutively
  • Detour: Eastbound Route 60 to Greene County Route NN interchange to northbound/southbound Route 65
  • Northbound Glenstone Avenue to eastbound Route 60 on ramp CLOSED due to safety reasons
  • DRIVERS ARE URGED TO FIND ALTERNATE ROUTES.
  • Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to any changes in the work schedule
  • Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
