TRAFFIC ALERT: Cedar County Route M/Bear Creek Bridge CLOSED East of Stockton Nov. 9 & 10

Where: Cedar County Route M/Bear Creek Bridge approximately one mile east of Missouri Route 32 near Stockton

When: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday & Wednesday, November 9 & 10

What: Route M bridge CLOSED to allow MoDOT crews to do preparation work in advance of a future project on the bridge

Traffic Impacts:

  • Route M bridge CLOSED where crews are working
  • Drivers will have access to driveways at either end of the bridge, but will not be able to travel through the work zone
  • All Route M lanes OPEN during nighttime hours
  • No signed detour
  • Signs and message boards will alert drivers to the work zone
  • Drivers should find alternate routes

Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
