Meeting on Columbia I-70 Bridges Set for Thursday

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The public is invited to learn more about the upcoming project to replace the Interstate 70 bridges over Business Loop 70/West Boulevard, Garth Avenue, and Missouri Route 763/Rangeline Street in Columbia, Mo. at a meeting scheduled for this Thursday.

The open-house style meeting will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the offices of Emery Sapp and Sons, 2301 I-70 Drive NW, Columbia, Mo. Representatives from the Missouri Department of Transportation, Emery Sapp and Parsons Transportation Group will be available to answer questions about the project and discuss traffic impacts.

Emery Sapp and Sons, along with partner Parsons Transportation Group, is the contractor on the $18 million design-build project. Design-build is a project delivery method that combines both the design and construction phases into one contract to save time and resources.
