Buchanan County U.S. Route 59 resurfacing project will close 3rd Street on Monday

No access to or from northbound U.S. Route 59 at 3rd Street/Auguste Street

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Third Street in St. Joseph will close Monday as part of a resurfacing project on Buchanan County U.S. Route 59 (St. Joseph Avenue). On Monday, Nov. 1, daylight hours, contractors from Herzog Contracting Corp., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, plan to close 3rd Street/Auguste Street on the south and east side of the intersection with St. Joseph Avenue. During the closure, motorists will need to use an alternate route.

 All work is weather permitting and could be rescheduled.
