U.S. Route 54 Improvements Approved for Callaway County

JEFFERSON CITY – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission has approved a contract to improve nearly seven miles of U.S. Route 54 in northern Callaway County.

This project will include resurfacing of the eastbound and westbound lanes from just north of Kingdom City to the Audrain County line. Pace Construction submitted the low bid of $2,355,000.

The project is scheduled to take place in 2022. When a precise start date is established, MoDOT will alert the public with updates through signs, news releases and social media.
