St. Joseph, Mo. – A project to bring a smoother driving surface to three routes in north central Missouri will begin next week. The Missouri Department of Transportation has contracted with Capital Paving, Inc. to complete the $1,395,203.74 project.
Each route will receive partial-depth patching and a surface leveling overlay, followed by shoulder rock and striping. The contractor plans to will begin Monday, Oct. 11 with partial-depth patching on Carroll County Route V. All work is expected to be complete in early November.
Workers will be present during daylight hours, Monday through Saturday, weather permitting. Flaggers and a pilot car will guide motorists through the work zone. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place on all three routes for the duration of the project.
All work is weather permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
