TRAFFIC ALERT: Expect Traffic Delays When Rt 160/Spring River Bridge Converted to Single-Lane Oct. 4

 

Where: U.S. Route 160 bridge over Muddy Fork of Spring River approximately three miles north of Golden City in Barton County

When: 8 a.m., Monday, October 4

What: MoDOT crews will reconfigure bridge as a single-lane bridge to improve safety. Crews will restripe the bridge and install signs telling drivers to yield to oncoming traffic.

Traffic Impacts:

  • Expect lane closures while crews are restriping bridge and installing signs
  • Drivers will encounter flaggers directing traffic through the work zone where crews are working
  • Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone

Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.
