Traffic Alert: Asphalt work will cause lane and ramp closures in Clay County

CLAY COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will close will make the following traffic changes for asphalt repair work. All work is weather dependent.

Crews will close the ramp from NW Briarcliff Pkwy to US 169 southbound from 7pm, Tuesday, September 21 until 6am, Wednesday, September 22. This is a complete closure.

Crews will close one lane of US 169 southbound to MO Route 9 from 7pm, Tuesday, September 17 until 6am, Wednesday, September 17.
 

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
