Traffic Alert: Shoulder work will cause lane closure on I-29 in Platte County

PLATTE COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will close the far-left lane of southbound I-29 at NW Waukomis Dr. from 8pm, Thursday, September 16 until 6am, Friday, September 17 for shoulder repair work. All work is weather dependent.

 

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
