COLUMBIA – Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) crews will be cleaning the concrete barrier wall along a four-mile stretch of Interstate 70 next week.
Work will take place in the eastbound and westbound lanes in Columbia between Route 740 (Stadium Boulevard) and U.S. Route 63.
For the safety of motorists and crews working on the roadway, one lane will be closed between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. each day. Crews are scheduled to begin on Sunday, September 12 and be finished by Thursday, September 16.
Signs will be in place to guide traffic through the work zones. MoDOT appreciates the patience of travelers while the work take place and encourages drivers to obey all traffic signs and give crews plenty of room to work.
