Postponed: Chariton County Routes K and KK railroad crossing maintenance

St. Joseph, Mo. – Crews working with the Norfolk Southern Railway have postponed the closure of Chariton County Routes K and KK scheduled to begin today for railroad maintenance. Crews now plan to close Routes K and KK at the the Kansas City District crossings at 8 a.m. Monday, Sept. 13, through Wednesday, Sept. 15, at 5 p.m.

During the closure, motorists will need to seek an alertnate route. All work is weather-permitting and schedules are subject to change.
