HANNIBAL– Weather permitting, MoDOT crews will be doing work on routes in Macon County. Please see the dates and locations below.
Macon County Route Y - Sep. 7-8, the road will be reduced to one lane traffic from Route J to U.S. Route 63 for patching operations. Work will be completed between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
U.S. Route 63 - Sep. 9, the road will be reduced to one lane traffic near Vine street in Macon for bridge maintenance on the bridge over BNSF Railroad. Work will be completed between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
U.S. Route 36 - Sep. 13, the road will be reduced to one lane traffic from one- tenth of a mile west of Monarch Place, east of Macon, for bridge maintenance operations on the bridge over Middle Fork Salt River. Work will be completed between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Route K - Sep. 14, the road will be closed from U.S. Route 36 to the end of State Maintenance for pavement work. Work will be completed between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Macon County Route DD - Sep. 15, the road will be reduced to one lane traffic from Route K to U.S. Route 63 for seal coat operations. Work will be completed between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. with a ten feet restriction in place while work is being completed.
Motorists will need to use caution when traveling through the work zone during these times or use alternate routes for closures.
