Where: Newton County Route D at Doniphan Drive and Austin Avenue in Neosho

What: MoDOT crews will install stop signs to convert Route D at the intersection of Doniphan Drive and Austin Avenue to three-way stop
Traffic Impacts: Currently, Doniphan Drive traffic approaching Austin Avenue may turn left (southeast) without stopping. Austin Avenue traffic approaching from the southwest must yield at the intersection, while Austin Avenue traffic approaching from the northwest must stop. The new configuration will require all drivers to stop before traveling through the intersection.
Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
