Expect Delays on Ozark County Routes OO & NN

Near Theodosia Aug. 23-26 For Seal Coat Work

Where/When:

  • Ozark County Route OO between U.S. Route 160 and end of state maintenance
    • 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday & Tuesday, Aug. 23 & 24
  • Ozark County Route NN between Ozark County Route P and end of state maintenance
    • 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, Aug. 24-26

 What: MoDOT crews sealing pavement with a mixture of rock and oil

Traffic Impacts:

  • Drivers can expect one-lane traffic with flaggers and a pilot vehicle guiding them through the work zones. Drivers on side roads are encouraged to wait for the pilot vehicle before entering the state routes.
  • Drivers may be stopped for up to 15 minutes
  • Drivers urged to find alternate routes. No signed detours are planned.
  • Local residents will be able to get to driveway and entrances along the road
  • Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to any changes in the work schedule
  • Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts

Additional Information: A seal coat is an economical way to maintain and preserve the roadway. The treatments keep a road from deteriorating and will extend its life.

Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
