Route 61 New Madrid County Reduced for Pavement Repairs

Route 61 in New Madrid County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs.

This section of roadway is located from County Road 728 to Bloomfield Road in New Madrid, Missouri.                                                                                                                                         

Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Aug. 23 through Thursday, Aug. 26 from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
