UPDATE: Chariton County Route PP to close for bridge maintenance

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation will close Route PP at the Middle Fork Chariton River Bridge for routine maintenance. The roadway will close between Salt Lick Avenue and Cemetery Avenue at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 18, and remain closed around-the-clock through 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 19. Motorists must use an alternate route during the closure.

The closure had previously been announced between Salt Lick Avenue and Muncas Avenue.

This work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
