St. Louis Work Zones for August 12-18

ST. LOUIS – Drivers traveling on eastbound Interstate 64 in the city of St. Louis will encounter a two right lane closure overnight on Thursday, August 12 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. between Jefferson and 14th Street as crews conduct bridge work.

In southwest St. Louis County, the northbound I-270 ramp to westbound I-44 will be closed starting at 9 p.m. Thursday, August 12 and reopening by 4 a.m. Friday, August 13. Traffic will be switched onto the new pavement and slip ramp.

Between St. Charles County and North St. Louis County, one lane of the southbound I-270 ramp to westbound Route 370 will close starting at 8 p.m. Friday, August 13 and reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, August 16. In addition, the ramp from Missouri Bottom Road to westbound Route 370 will be closed during this same time period. Signed detours will direct drivers to southbound I-270 to Route 180 (St. Charles Rock Road) and back.

Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:

  • I-64, St. Louis City, three lanes closed eastbound across the Mississippi River at the Poplar Street Bridge until October.
  • I-64, St. Louis City, starting Monday, the ramp from Jefferson to westbound will be closed until mid-October.
  • I-64, St. Louis City, Ewing bridge over the interstate is closed until late August.
  • I-64, St. Louis City, one left lane closed eastbound and westbound under Ewing until late August.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, one lane closed westbound between I-270 and Bowles through early 2022.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, eastbound I-270 off-ramp to Washington Street/Elizabeth Avenue closed until fall.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, one lane of Dunn Road at Washington/Elizabeth closed until fall.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, eastbound and westbound Pershall Road is closed at Coldwater Creek until 2022.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, starting Monday, one lane of Pershall between West Florissant and Knollstone Drive will be closed until May 2022. Westbound traffic will no longer be able to use this section of Pershall.
  • Route 67, St. Louis County, northbound ramp to westbound I-270 closed till mid-2022.
  • Route 67, St. Louis County, the ramp from southbound to eastbound Route 340 is closed until late August 2021.
  • Route 340, St. Louis County, the ramp from eastbound to northbound Route 67 is closed until late August 2021.
  • Route 364, St. Louis County, starting at 8 p.m. Friday, the northbound lanes of Bennington Place are closed until late August.
  • Route 370, St. Louis County, starting at 8 p.m. Friday, one lane on the ramp from eastbound to northbound I-270 is closed until late August.
  • Veterans Memorial Parkway (I-70 Outer road), St. Charles County, closed between Lake St. Louis and Rue Petite Drive until December.

  • Route A, Jefferson County, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., one lane closed between Old Route 21 and east of Collins Drive. Flaggers will direct traffic through the closure.
  • Route A, Jefferson County, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., one lane closed at various locations between Old Route 21 and east of Collins Drive. Flaggers will direct traffic through the closures.
  • Route B, Jefferson County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed between Peach Tree Plaza Drive and Old Route 21. Flaggers will direct traffic through the closure.
  • Route W, Jefferson County, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., one lane closed on Route W and Route FF from Route F to Route 30. Flaggers will direct traffic through the closure.

  • I-64, St. Louis City, starting at 9 a.m., the ramp from Jefferson to westbound will be closed until mid-October.
