Traffic Alert: Nighttime pavement work will cause lane and ramp closures in Clay County

CLAY COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will make the following traffic changes as part of a pavement repair project. All work is weather dependent.

Crews will close the right lane of eastbound Highway 152 at 169 Highway from 6pm, Monday, Aug. 9 until 6am, Tuesday, Aug. 10

Crews will close the 152 Highway eastbound ramp to 169 Highway southbound from 10pm, Monday, Aug. 9 until 6am, Tuesday, Aug. 10

Crews will close the right lane of northbound I-35 at mile marker 25.8 (just before northbound I-35 to the Route 92 ramp) from 6pm, Tuesday, Aug. 10 until 6am, Wednesday, Aug. 11

Crews will close the right lane of southbound I-35 at mile marker 24.4 and 25.2 (just south of Route 92) from 6pm, Wednesday, Aug. 11 until 6am, Thursday, Aug. 12

Crews will close the ramp from southbound I-35 at mile marker 20.4 (to Plattsburg Rd./Lightburne Rd.) from 6pm, Thursday, Aug. 12 until 6am, Friday, Aug. 13

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
