JACKSON COUNTY– MoDOT Kansas City will be starting bridge work along southbound I-435 at Oldham Rd. and Gregory Blvd. that will require double lane closures in the area beginning on Tuesday, Aug. 10.
Northbound I-435 will be reduced to one lane in the area on Thursday, Aug. 12. The bridges are anticipated to completed in approximately mid-October.
All work is weather permitting.
Tuesday, Aug. 10
- Crews will close the two left most lanes of southbound I-435 over Gregory Blvd. and Oldham Rd. beginning at 9 a.m. until approximately 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 10. After 3 p.m., a new traffic configuration will allow two lanes of traffic open while the left most lane will remain closed until approximately late August.
Thursday, Aug. 12
- Crews will reduce northbound I-435 over Gregory Blvd. and Oldham Rd. to ONE LANE beginning at 9 a.m. until approximately 3 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 12. All lanes will be re-opened at approximately 3 p.m. once crews have removed the temporary pavement markings and have restored the original traffic configuration.
