JACKSON COUNTY – MoDOT Kansas City will be making joint repairs along southbound I-435 over the Blue River between I-70 and Front Street beginning at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 4, through Wednesday, Aug. 18. This work will require the closure of the right most lane and the shoulder in the area. This will reduce southbound I-435 to two lanes between Front St. and U.S. 24/Independence Ave. There will be delays in the area. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, leave early, or consider alternate routes if necessary. All work is weather permitting.
