Taney County – Drivers can expect lane closures and occasional traffic delays on various routes in Taney County for a resurfacing project beginning the week of August 9, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
Taney County routes impacted by this project:
- Route MM between Missouri Route 76 in Mildred to end of state maintenance
- Route K between Missouri Route 76 in Kirbyville to end of state maintenance
- Route VV between Missouri Route 76 east of Kirbyville to end of state maintenance
- Route P between Missouri Route 265 south of Hollister to end of state maintenance
Contractor crews will work during daytime hours to install a new asphalt driving surface.
Traffic Impacts:
- Traffic reduced to one lane where contractor crews are laying asphalt
- Drivers will encounter flaggers and pilot cars where crews are working. Drivers should wait for the pilot car before proceeding through the work zone or before entering the work zone from a side road.
- Work will be done during daytime hours, all lanes open to traffic at night
- No signed detour
- Drivers should find alternate routes
- Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone
Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.
