MoDOT TRAFFIC ALERT: Nighttime Traffic Shift on Missouri Route 13 in Kimberling City July 26-27

What: Southbound Missouri Route 13 traffic shifted to the center turn lane at Wildwood Lane/Kissee Avenue intersection in Kimberling City

When: 8 p.m. Monday, July 26 until 6 a.m. Tuesday, July 27

Details: Contractor crews drilling shafts for new signal bases as part of the Missouri Route 13 Intersection Project in Kimberling City

Traffic Impacts:

  • Southbound Route 13 traffic shifted to the center turn lane at Wildwood Lane/Kissee Avenue intersection in Kimberling City
  • Northbound Route 13 traffic remains in the right lane
  • Wildwood Lane will be closed at the Route 13 and Wildwood Lane/Kissee Avenue intersection
  • Crews and equipment close to traffic
  • Drivers urged to find alternate routes
  • Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to any changes in the work schedule
  • Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts

Project Summary:

  • Contractor crews will remove the wooden posts, upgrade the signal and traffic detection loops and pavement stripe
  • Contractor: Ewing Signal Construction of Nixa
  • Completion date: December 1, 2021 (Contractor expects the project to be completed by early September)
  • Total estimated cost: $204,160
