Traffic Alert: Pavement repair work will cause various ramp closures in Jackson Co

JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will make the following traffic changes for pavement repair work in Jackson County. All work is weather dependent.

Crews will close the ramp from I-70 westbound to 169 Highway northbound from 7:30 pm, Wednesday, July 28 until 6am, Thursday, July 29

Crews will close the ramp from I-35 northbound to I-70 eastbound from 7:30 pm, Wednesday, July 28 until 6am, Thursday, July 29

Crews will close the ramp from I-70 westbound to I-35 southbound from 7:30 pm, Thursday, July 29 until 6am, Friday, July 30


Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
