MoDOT TRAFFIC ALERT: Expect Nighttime Ramp CLOSURES at U.S. Route 65

in Ozark July 26-29 For Resurfacing

When/Where:

  • Southbound U.S. Route 65 on- and off ramps between Christian County Route CC/Route J and Christian County Route EE CLOSED in Ozark starting at Route CC/Route J and working their way south to Route EE
    • 9 p.m. until 6 a.m., Monday-Tuesday, July 26-27
  • Northbound U.S. Route 65 on- and off ramps between Missouri Route 14 and Christian County Route EE CLOSED in Ozark starting at Route EE and working their way north to Route 14
    • 9 p.m. until 6 a.m., Wednesday-Thursday, July 28-29

Details: Contractor crews will CLOSE and resurface the on- and off ramps. Each ramp will be closed separately.

Ramps impacted include:

  • Christian County Route CC/Route J
  • Missouri Route 14 (Jackson Street)
  • Business 65 (W South Street)/Christian County Route F
  • Christian County Route EE

Traffic Impacts:

  • Ramps CLOSED to traffic during nighttime hours where crews are working
  • Ramps OPEN during daytime hours
  • No signed detours
  • Drivers should find alternate route
  • Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to any changes in the work schedule
  • Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts

(Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule)

Details: This work is part of a project to resurface Route 65 between Route CC/Route J and Route EE in Ozark.

Project Information:

  • Prime Contractor: Capital Paving & Construction LLC, Columbia
  • Total Project Cost: $2.4 million
  • Completion Date: Early November 2021
