Traffic Alert: Crews will close I-35 ramp and lane for pavement work

CLAY COUNTY – Due to inclement weather, the Missouri Department of Transportation has rescheduled work and will make the following traffic changes for pavement repair work. All work is weather dependent.

Crews will close the I-35 northbound ramp to I-435 northbound from 7pm Friday, July 16 until 6am Saturday, July 17

Crews will close the right lane of northbound I-35 at mile marker 52 from 7pm, Friday, July 16 until 6am, Saturday, July 17

**Note: This work was originally scheduled to happen Thursday, July 15 through Friday, July 16.
 

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
