Resurfacing Projects Set to Begin on Lincoln County Routes W & B

MACON – Weather permitting, Monday, Aug. 2, crews will begin a resurfacing project on Lincoln County Route W from Lincoln County Route B to Lincoln County Route KK near Brussells, the total length of the improvement being 7.825 miles.

Once that project is complete, crews will be resurfacing Lincoln County Route B from U.S. Route 61 to Missouri Route 79, the total length of the improvement being 10.586 miles.

Mid-River Asphalt, Inc, of Troy, Missouri, was awarded these two projects in the amount of $1,322,549.

“The resurfacing projects on Routes W and Route B will include a 1 ¼ inch overlay,” said MoDOT Area Engineer Erik Maninga. Traffic will be reduced to one lane through the work zones while the work is completed.
