Linn County Route WW closed due to flood damage

St. Joseph – One section of Linn County Route WW is closed due to roadway damage caused by flooding in the area. The Mussel Fork Bridge on Route WW, east of Marceline and near the Macon County line, is closed until further notice. Floodwaters washed out the area under the bridge approach and local maintenance crews are making repairs.

Engineers are on site evaluating the damage and repairs. The bridge will remain closed until all necessary repairs are made to ensure the roadway is safe for motorists.
