PETTIS COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will have lane closures on Route 50 from Route M on the east side of Sedalia to the Morgan County line beginning the week of July 19.
A flagging operation on Route 50 will reduce the highway to one lane from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. This project will include pavement repair, resurfacing, and the addition of turn lanes at Route O and Airpark Road.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
