Contract Awarded to Resurface Roads in Clark, Lewis and Scotland Counties

HANNIBAL – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission has approved a contract to resurface roads in Clark, Lewis and Scotland counties. 

 
Under the approved contract, resurfacing will take place in the following areas:

  • Route A from Route E in Williamstown to Missouri Route 16 in Monticello in Lewis County (9.8 miles).
  • Route B from Iowa State line to Missouri Route 136 in Scotland County (13.9 miles).
  • Route H from Missouri Route 81 to U.S. Route 61 in Clark County (12 miles).

Magruder Paving, LLC was awarded the contract after submitting the low bid of $2,493,120.
Work could begin as early as this summer, with the contract requiring completion of all three roadways by June of 2022. When a start date is established, MoDOT will alert the public about the project through signs, news releases and social media.
