JACKSON COUNTY – Crews will close one lane of eastbound and westbound US 24 Highway (Independence Ave.,) at the intersection of Noland Rd. from 9am until 5pm, Tuesday, July 13 for pavement repair work.
Motorists wanting to access locations south of Noland Rd. will be detoured at Sterling Rd., then to Truman Rd., then east to Noland Rd. All work is weather dependent.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
