Chariton County Route PP now closed for bridge repairs

St. Joseph, Mo. – Crews have now closed the Chariton County Route PP bridge over the Middle Fork Little Chariton River, east of Salisbury. Route PP had been narrowed to one lane this week at the bridge for deck repairs, but crews have now closed the roadway in order to complete concrete replacement. The road is expected to reopen by 9 a.m. on Friday, July 9. Motorists will need to seek an alternate route during the closure.

All work is weather-permitting and schedules are subject to change.
