TRAFFIC ALERT: Lawrence County Route 37 CLOSED West of Pierce City Due to Culvert Collapse

Where: Lawrence County Route 37 west of Pierce City

When: Immediately. Crews are reviewing the area to determine next steps to repair the area and safely reopen to roadway to traffic as quickly as possible.

What: Route 37 CLOSED to allow MoDOT crews to replace damaged culvert underneath the road

Traffic Impacts:

  • All Route 37 lanes CLOSED where crews are working
  • No signed detour
  • Signs and message boards will alert drivers to the work zone
  • Drivers should find alternate route

Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
