MACON – Weather permitting, MoDOT crews will be doing pavement and bridge work on routes in Macon County. Please see the dates and locatons below.
Macon County Route C - June 29-July 1, one lane traffic at various locations from U.S. Route 36 to the Randolph County line for patching operations. Work will be completed between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. each day.
U.S. Route 36 (eastbound) - July 7, road will be one lane traffic from Embassy Place to one mile west of Fireworks Avenue for bridge work at the Chariton River Bridge. There will be a 15 ft. width restriction in place while the work is completed between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Please use caution if you will be traveling through these areas. Pay attention to all work zone signs and personnel, and remember to always put your cell phone down to help eliminate distractions.
