TRAFFIC ALERT: WB U.S. Route 54/Little Drywood Creek Bridge Reduced to One Lane Beginning June 28

Where: U.S. Route 54 over Little Drywood Creek west of Nevada

When: 8 a.m., Monday, June 28 until further notice

What: Westbound Route 54/Little Drywood Creek bridge reduced to one lane to allow MoDOT crews to make preparations for repairs to the bridge

Traffic Impacts:

  • Westbound U.S. Route 54/Little Drywood Creek bridge reduced to one lane
  • Westbound traffic shifted to left lane
  • Weight limit on bridge reduced to 25 tons
  • Reduced speed limit
  • Signs and message boards will alert drivers to the work zone
  • Drivers should find alternate route

Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
