TRAFFIC ALERT: Traffic Signal Changes at Route 60 & National Ave. in Springfield June 17

Where: U.S. Route 60 (James River Freeway) westbound off ramp to southbound National Avenue diverging diamond intersection in Springfield

When: 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 17

Details: MoDOT crews converted the westbound-to-southbound left turn into a signed yielding left turn. This change is similar to the Route 60 westbound off ramp-to-southbound Kansas Expressway diverging diamond intersection.

Traffic Impacts:

  • Route 60 westbound off ramp-to-southbound National Avenue left turn now yields to oncoming southbound traffic
  • Drivers are urged to be aware of the new traffic configuration
