St. Joseph, Mo – Utility work will impact traffic on Business U.S. Route 71 in Andrew County beginning this week. PAR Electric will close one lane of southbound Business U.S. Route 71 in Savannah to replace utility poles beginning today, Tuesday, June 15, and continuing through Saturday, July 24. During that time, a section of the southbound lanes of Business U.S. Route 71 from Market Street to just south of Swenson Drive will be narrowed from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, Monday through Saturday.
Drivers should stay alert and obey all traffic signs, barricades and flaggers to safely navigate through the work zone.
All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
