Traffic Alert: Pavement repair work will cause ramp closures in Clay and Platte Counties

CLAY/PLATTE COUNTIES – The Missouri Department of Transportation will make the following traffic changes as part of an asphalt pavement repair project in Clay and Platte Counties. All work is weather dependent.

Crews will close the I-29 southbound to US 169 northbound ramp from 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 16 until 6:00 a.m. Thursday, June 17 (Clay Co.)

Crews will close the US 169 southbound to I-29 southbound ramp and one southbound lane of I-29 from 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 16 until 6:00 a.m. Thursday, June 17 (Clay Co.)

Crews will close the I-29 northbound to Barry Rd. ramp from 9:00 p.m. Thursday, June 17 until 6:00 a.m. Friday, June 18 (Platte Co.)

Crews will close the Route 45 to I-29 southbound ramp from 9:00 p.m. Thursday, June 17 until 6:00 a.m. Friday, June 18 (Platte Co.)

 

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
