JACKSON COUNTY –MoDOT Kansas City will be performing shoulder work along eastbound I-470 just before the Douglas St./Colbern Rd. exit beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, June 14, until approximately noon on Tuesday, June 15. Crews will be conducting signage work in the area. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
