Culvert and Bridge Work Will Temporarily Close Routes in Macon County

MACON – Weather permitting, MoDOT crews will be doing culvert and bridge work on routes in Macon County. Please see the dates and locatons below. 

Macon County Route K - June 14, road will be closed from Mariner Street to Ladder Street for a culvert replacement. Work will be completed between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. that day. 

Missouri Route 156 - June 21-24, road will be closed at Cottonwood Creek, located between Fedora Avenue and Flagpole Avenue, for bridge work. Work will be completed between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. each day. The bridge will be reopen each evening. 

 Motorists will need to find alternate routes during these times.
