Buchanan County Interstate 29 and U.S. Route 36 interchange ramps to close next week

St. Joseph, Mo – The Buchanan County Interstate 29 and U.S. Route 36 cloverleaf interchange (Exits 46 A and 46 B) is scheduled to close next week for a bridge sealing project. Crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation will close the on and off-ramps at the interchange on Tuesday, June 15, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

For the safety of crews and motorists, the ramps will be closed while crews complete preventative bridge sealing treatments on the I-29 bridge over U.S. Route 36.

During the closures, motorists must use an alternate route. All work is weather dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
