Southbound Interstate 229 ramp to northbound Interstate 29 closed tomorrow

St. Joseph, Mo. – The ramp from southbound Interstate 229 to northbound I-29, just south of St. Joseph, will close tomorrow morning, Tuesday, June 8, at 7 a.m. The ramp closure is a part of ongoing environmental cleanup and roadway repairs following a vehicle crash. Crews expect to reopen the ramp by Wednesday, June 9, at 3 p.m.

The ramp will remain closed around-the-clock. Motorists must use an alternate route during the closure.
