To Install A New Water Main June 9-10
Where: Mount Vernon Street (Missouri Route 14) CLOSED just west of New Street in Nixa
When: 7 p.m. Thursday, June 10 Wednesday, June 9, until 7 a.m. Friday, June 11 Thursday, June 10
What: City of Nixa contractor installing a new water main underneath the road
Traffic Impacts:
- Mount Vernon Street (Route 14) CLOSED in Nixa only where crews are set up working
- Drivers will be able to get to driveways and entrances on either side of the work zones, but will not be able to travel through the work zones
- Drivers urged to find alternate routes. No signed detours are planned.
- Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to any changes in the work schedule
- Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
