When: Beginning Wednesday, June 2 until further notice

Details: MoDOT crews to repair sinkhole damage in the I-44 median. Westbound I-44 left passing lane closed for safety reasons.

Traffic Impacts:

  • Westbound I-44 left passing lane closure (mm 75) under West Bypass (Route 160) in Springfield
  • Westbound I-44 right driving lane open
  • Westbound I-44 and West Bypass (Route 160) on and off ramps open
  • Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone
  • Drivers should look for alternate route
