UPDATE: Bridge joint repairs to close 9th Street under U.S. Route 36 next week

9th Street to close Tuesday, June 1, and Wednesday, June 2

St. Joseph, Mo. – On Tuesday, June 1, and Wednesday, June 2, 9th Street under U.S. Route 36 will be closed to all traffic during daylight hours. Crews working with the Missouri Department of Transportation will close 9th Street under the bridge in order to safely complete bridge joint repairs. Crews will reopen 9th Street the afternoon of June 1 and reclose it the morning of June 2 to complete the work. Motorists must use an alternate route during the closures.

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
