St. Joseph, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Transportation is reminding drivers that guardrail work as part of the U.S. Route 36 resurfacing project will close ramps at the Interstate 29 and U.S. Route 36 interchange three days this week. Motorists must use an alternate route during the closures. The first ramp closures are planned for tomorrow, Tuesday, May 25, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.:
- From westbound U.S. Route 36 to southbound I-29
- From southbound I-29 to eastbound U.S. Route 36 (Exit 46A)
Ramp closures are also planned for Wednesday, May 26 and Thursday, May 27, also from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Wednesday:
• From southbound I-29 to eastbound U.S. Route 36 (Exit 46A)
• From eastbound U.S. Route 36 to northbound I-29
Thursday:
• From northbound I-29 to westbound U.S. Route 36 (Exit 46B)
All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
