Ramps at Interstate 29 and U.S. Route 36 to close next week

St. Joseph, Mo. – Guardrail work as part of the U.S. Route 36 resurfacing project will close ramps at the Interstate 29 and U.S. Route 36 interchange several days next week. Motorists must use an alternate route during the closures, which are scheduled from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. as noted below:

Tuesday, May 25

  • From westbound U.S. Route 36 to southbound I-29
  • From southbound I-29 to eastbound U.S. Route 36 (Exit 46A)

Wednesday, May 26

  • From southbound I-29 to eastbound U.S. Route 36 (Exit 46A)
  • From eastbound U.S. Route 36 to northbound I-29

Thursday, May 27

  • From northbound I-29 to westbound U.S. Route 36 (Exit 46B)

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
