Buchanan County Interstate 229 ramps to close for sealing project

St. Joseph, Mo. – Crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation, will close several ramps along Buchanan County Interstate 229 for a sealing project on Tuesday, May 25 from approximately 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. During this time, each ramp will be closed for approximately one hour.

  • I-229 northbound to Edmond Street
  • Charles Street to I-229 southbound
  • I-229 southbound to Felix Street
  • Francis Street to I-229 northbound

During the closures, motorists will need to use an alternate route. All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
