CALLAWAY COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will close Callaway County Route K in various locations over the next two weeks in order to improve drainage along the roadway.
Crews will replace culvert pipes in the following areas:
- Between Route D and County Road 191. The road will be closed on Thursday, May 13.
- Between County Road 193 and County Road 4057. The road will be closed on Monday, May 17 and Tuesday, May 18.
- Between County Road 193 and County Road 4056. The road will be closed on Wednesday, May 18.
]The road will be closed at these locations from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Message boards will be in place in advance to warn motorists of the closures. Drivers are advised to seek an alternate route around the work areas. MoDOT appreciates the patience of travelers while the work takes place.
