I-270 North Project announces brief May closures at U.S. Route 67 (Lindbergh Boulevard) interchanges

Drivers should be aware of three seven-day closures scheduled during May at both the U.S. Route 67 (Lindbergh Boulevard) and I-270 interchange and the U.S. Route 67 (Lindbergh Boulevard) and Taylor Road/Lynn Haven Lane interchange. The closures, which occur between May 13 and June 15, will switch current northbound traffic onto a portion of the new Lindbergh Boulevard road and bridge over I-270.

Closure dates and detours:

Beginning at 6 a.m. on May 13, the I-270 westbound exit ramp to northbound Lindbergh will close for seven days. Drivers should find alternate routes to access northbound Lindbergh.

Beginning at 6 a.m. on June 1, the northbound Lindbergh exit ramp to Taylor will close for seven days. Drivers should access Taylor/Lynn Haven from northbound Lindbergh or I-270 by traveling McDonnell to Brown to Dunn.

Beginning at 6 a.m. on June 8, northbound Lindbergh at the bridge over Taylor/Lynn Haven will close for seven days. Northbound Lindbergh traffic should detour via the exit ramp to Taylor, drive through the Taylor intersection and continue to northbound Lindbergh.

All detours will be signed. Travelers should plan ahead and find alternate routes to their destinations when possible.

Drivers are encouraged to visit the I-270 North Project website at: www.i270north.org to learn more about planned detours and details of the project, including a project overview and graphic displays of planned construction. Travelers can also contact MoDOT’s customer service center at 1-314-275-1500 or the I-270 North Project Team at: I-270North@modot.mo.gov.
