Permit work planned on the Belt Highway at Tractor Supply Company/South Belt Walmart signals

St. Joseph, Mo. – Work to a commercial driveway will require extra caution from motorists at intersection of U.S. Route 169 (Belt Highway) and Tractor Supply Company/South Belt Walmart. Contractors with Kansas Asphalt, Inc., working under a permit obtained through the Missouri Department of Transportation, are improving the Tractor Supply Company driveway.

To safely complete the work, lane closures and turning restrictions will be in place Monday, May 10, and Tuesday, May 11. The following traffic shifts will remain up around-the-clock and may cause delays:

  • The northbound driving lane (right lane) of the Belt Highway will be closed through the intersection
  • The turn lane from southbound Belt Highway will be closed
  • The through lane from Walmart to Tractor Supply Company will be closed
  • Drivers wishing to access Tractor Supply Company or Aldi will need to use the south Aldi entrance

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
